آقای دیسکین از بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخست وزیر و ایهود باراک، وزیر دفاع به دلیل سخنان آنها درباره مقابله با ایران بر سربرنامه هسته ای آن کشور انتقاد کرده و گفته است این دو تصمیماتشان را براساس اعتقادات مذهبی مبتنی بر امید به رستگاری می گیرند.

آقای دیسکین همچنین گفته است صحبت های این دو نفر در این باره که اگر اسرائیل دست به اقدام نظامی علیه ایران بزند، ایران موفق به دستیابی به بمب اتم نخواهد شد، نادرست است.
